Nestled in the heart of Littleton, New Hampshire, the Littleton Studio School is a beacon of creativity and artistic expression. This community arts center is dedicated to fostering artistic growth and providing a platform for creative expression for students of all ages and abilities.
A Variety of Classes
The Littleton Studio School offers year-round art and craft classes, encouraging students to enjoy and explore a variety of artistic venues. From pottery and jewelry making to painting and mixed media, the school provides a wide range of classes to cater to different interests and skill levels.
In the clay studio, beginners can learn the basics of throwing and hand-building, with the opportunity to advance their skills through a variety of classes. Intermediate and advanced potters are offered one or two-day workshops and mentoring from other potters. The clay studio is well-equipped with seven electric pottery wheels, two electric kilns, space for hand-building, a slab roller, a glazing area with a variety of glazes, and ample shelving and storage.
Even the building that houses the school is itself a piece of art.
Set overlooking the Ammonoosuc River, The Lincoln Studio School holds court over the wild rushing water. Surely a setting that spurs the creative heart!
The school also offers a variety of classes in metal and jewelry techniques. These classes are taught by skilled artisans, some of whom are juried League of NH Craftsman members. Today the school offers online courses, allowing students to learn at their own pace and from the comfort of their own homes.

The open studio is available to all enrolled in a class, offering up to 15 hours a week of practice time.
