Good broadband; new businesses opening in town yet available buildings for expansion. City Hall strikes us as a fairly welcome place & the business community is remarkable. We did not find an incubator but we did find a lot of fellow entrepreneurs & FSU is an hour away.
Remarkably affordable & pretty close to Florida’s beaches.

We love this closely-knit town for families. About half of the population own their own homes, so there are many housing options and they are remarkably affordable. Parks and recreation opportunities are remarkable and downtown has a steady calendar of family-friendly events.
Sometimes, we just “know” a town would be a home run for singles, but we are on the fence here. It is such a charming & affordable town with a busy event calendar, which we love to see. We also think access to Tallahassee, and FSU would be great opportunities to meet new people. 70% of the population are natives but with new professionals moving into town, we think finding your people will only get easier. Recommend spending more time in this adorable town.
What a dreamy option! The town is walkable, affordable, there is so much to do here for a town of less than 20k, and the medical system, which serves the region, is right in town!

We think this town is an ideal destination for a getaway or to take in some of the amazing festivals and events that are on the calendar year round. The town offers a variety of hospitality options to suit every traveler's needs. The introduction of the Courtyard by Marriott, woven in between historic districts offers walkable accomodations to downtown as do cozy vacation rentals. More national offerings are found outside of downtown so there's a perfect place for everyone to rest and recharge while exploring this charming town.
