There is so much to do in Canton, from breweries, festivals, and wonderful restaurants - we think this city will continue to grow to a remarkable destination. To date - accommodations are predictable and convenient along I-575 making it a great place to land. We are looking forward to a destination hotel in this city!

Good broadband; new businesses opening in town yet available buildings for expansion. City Hall is a remarkably welcome place, less than 1.5 hours from Atlanta MSA & International Airport. Access great talent, grow your business and live the small town dream.
Good broadband & selection of short-term rentals for the nomads. Downtown has a selection of places to eat and has not one but two fabulous co-working centers. This town is top notch for remote workers!

Pretty much perfect. Loads of recreational programs and green space, activities that draw the entire family on the downtown calendar, options on housing choices are excellent, many locals came here because of the schools and affordability.
While young families dominate this town, there is such a surge in innovation and creating a downtown culture - we think singles would find it easy to identify their tribe here. Proximity to downtown Atlanta for occasional entertainment is a plus.
There are a lot of recreation options and many new residents, which is an advantage for making new friends. Housing is fairly affordable and there are alot of price points and offerings to choose from. Did we mention they are finishing up on a new hospital, right in town?
THE UNIQUE MAGIC INGREDIENTS
SPARKS & Vibes
The way we see it, SPARKS are the places, events, activities that you remember about a MoxieTown, the ones that set them apart, the ones they are known for, & make a lasting impression.
Vibes , on the other hand, are that all-over feeling you get from a place, its unique ambiance.
Canton has been transforming over the past decade from a really wonderful town to a really vibrant town that everyone is talking about. Capturing their vibe is a challenge, it is so big! But we think Riverside Renaissance covers it all.

The Downtown Scene
Downtown Canton sits atop of the hill that looks north to the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and south to the skyline of Atlanta, it's wrapped by the flowing beautiful Etowah River, that once fueled its industry and commerce. Downtown is the county seat and is a vibrant pattern of bustle and business. A growing culinary culture and the influence of new businesses being nurtured and launched have transformed downtown to a place to be.

There are so many treasures to find in Canton. One of our favorites is the historic theater right in the heart of downtown. Here, live performances, as well as film favorites, are sold out on a regular basis; steps away down the hill toward the Mill you will find an amphitheater and green with ongoing performances and entertainment. There is also an emerging public art movement - and it is showing up everywhere in town!

How we look at demographics, other than education choices
We are looking at small towns everywhere and, so that our fellow small-town fans can really compare “apples to apples” as closely as possible, we use a 3-mile radius for most all of our demographics, 1 mile if we are talking specifically about what is within walking distance to the heart of town. Because when you are talking about who lives in a town - you don’t really care about who provides their water or where they pay their taxes.
